Enter online at RodeoResults.com (credit card only) through November 15th, or mail entry form postmarked by November 6th (check or cashier’s check; no processing fees).
Entries close November 13th for the early draw, which will be posted online on Nov. 14th on Rodeo Results.
Late entries will be allowed onsite until 9:30 am, November 16th (cash only). A late draw section will be added to the end of the first draw entries.

New users to Rodeo Results: create an account/profile for each child and horse.
PARENTS: Rodeo Results requires each rider to have an account. If you make an account for your child, put the child’s name on the account, not yours.
Cash Only for onsite entries. Mailed entries may pay with a check made payable to HK Promotions LLC. Returned checks will incur a $30 Fee. All fees and winnings must be paid in US Funds. Winnings will be paid out after contestant submits a W-9.

2 age division classes: Junior (13 & under) 5D, and Senior (14-18) 5D. 1⁄2 Second Splits.
Entries limited to the first 400 received and paid. One entry per rider and horse combination.
80% progressive payout.
Age of rider as of race day (November 16th).
Optional sidepots/incentives:
Horse changes allowed until race starts. Please complete horse change form onsite. $20 fee.
Race will be run in the “south” or “George Strait” arena.
Drag every 5; big drags every 50.
The “north” arena will be open at all times for riding and warmup. We will have barrels set up for you to work your horses. The staff will drag periodically throughout the day. For safety reasons, practice runs are not allowed in this warmup arena.
Each entry will be allowed one free exhibition, on Friday from 7:30 – 11:00pm, in draw order, in the competition arena.
If your fees and paperwork are complete, you do not need to check in. No back numbers.
Dress code mandatory for contestant and helper: long pants, riding boots, long-sleeved collared shirt, hat or helmet.
Holding pen: Only the upcoming 5 contestants in the current drag will be allowed in the holding pen. Only one helper may accompany an entry into the holding pen and alley. Helper may not go past the plane of the arena gate; any violation will result in disqualification.
Knocked over barrels will be +5 seconds.
Disqualifications (contestant is turned out and awarded a No Time) in the following cases:
Broken pattern
Running out of turn
Failure to continue forward motion after crossing the plane of the arena
Making a circle in the arena, before the timer or anywhere in the pattern
Failure to be ready when called 3 times by the Announcer
Failure to enter the arena within 2 minutes after entering the alley
Failure to enter the alley within 2 minutes after name is called.
Reruns will be given only in the event of a timer malfunction. If a rerun is given, it will be up to the producer to decide when the rerun will take place in the best interest of the horse and competitor. No Reruns allowed for horses falling, equipment breaking, or for a rider’s decision to pull up.
No tuning of horses in the arena once pattern is broken or a barrel is hit. Please ride out respectfully.
Draw-outs are allowed prior to 5 pm on November 13th, for any reason. Draw-outs with a Vet or Medical Release are allowed if submitted prior to 10 am, November 16th. Above draw-outs will receive a refund of entry fee, less office and convenience fee. No refunds will be given after 5 pm, November 13th, without a vet/medical release.
Zero Tolerance Policy on Abuse. This policy includes but is not limited to any act of a contestant, helper, family member, or friend, that is intended to cause trauma or injury to a horse, that occurs anywhere on the grounds, including arenas and stalls. Any accusations of abuse will be reviewed by the producer. Violators will be asked to leave the grounds, forfeiting any and all fees or winnings.
Contestants will be highly encouraged to take proper care of horses by feeding, watering and monitoring horses while on the premises.
Be respectful of each other and to our entire staff. Rudeness will not be tolerated.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
A current (within 1 year of race date) negative coggins is required on every horse that enters the premises. A current (within 30 days) Health Certificate is required on every horse from outside of the state of Texas.
Arrival is permitted after 1 pm on Friday, Nov. 15th.
